About WIND BASE YOKOHAMA NISHIGUCHI“WIND BASE” The office space for innovators, now open in Yokohama, where the future of Japan was and will be cultivated.

An office should be a place where aspirations for your business goals are nurtured with your comrades, not just a place for performing tasks.
This philosophy, is mirrored in our quest to design spaces, so participants could exchange visions, through agile interactions.
Our new hub for innovators is now hosted in Nisso No. 5 Building on “Chokoku Street”, accessible from Yokohama Station West Exit. The building welcomes you with an eye-catching, contemporary metal sculpture, one of which that has contributed to this street name.
From this homelike, chill office space, innovative ideas will be unleashed to help shape a sustainable future.
This is “WIND BASE YOKOHAMA NISHIGUCHI”.

Area ConceptYokohama Station West Exit―
the largest terminal of Kanagawa, Japan and at the heart of an evolving international city.

Since the opening of its port in 1859, Yokohama has evolved rapidly, as the gateway for technologies and cultures continuously flowing in from all over the world. Currently, the Kitasaiwai area, where this office is located, is within the “Excite Yokohama 22*” development district, which is a designated area undergoing development as the entrance to this International City. It serves as a business district that supports growing companies in tandem with leading enterprises.
Throughout its remarkable history and prospective future, this area embodies the spirit of “from Yokohama to the world” with its inherent entrepreneurship and globalism.

* According to City of Yokohama(As of July, 2022)

Common spaceExpressing the spirit of innovators in the modern business scene.

The design concept is to carry the atmosphere from when the Port of Yokohama opened, the time when people were filled with positivity for the future.

Innovators must have a strong will to overhaul the status-quo. This ambition, is the underlying theme for the eye-catching sculpture at the entrance of the building, and for the “washi” wall art expressing dolphins going through waves. The interior design tactfully integrates the innovative momentum of Yokohama in the early Meiji era, with the touch of modern interpretations.

The spacious entrance and exterior white tiles present a sophisticated appearance, while preserving the original style and dignity of the property. The building stands out uniquely amongst other structures in the area.

  • Entrance sculpture

    Entrance sculpture

Back when Nisso No.5 Building was built, a number of environmental sculptures were placed alongside the street, officially giving its name “Chokoku Street”. This piece of art symbolizes innovators’ unremitting ambition to make a positive impact on the future.

  • Lobby

Just like the innovators who think outside of the box, the wall art features the image of dolphins attacking countless waves. It expresses our wish to provide our tenants with the vibrant environment to deliver the best results.

Office spaceA welcoming space that cultivates business innovation

A comfortable working environment that creates one-of-a-kind moments.

The genesis of innovation is free imagination, often born from an environment where you can loosen up. This is exactly why we paid close attention to the interior design of the space, not to mention basics such as functionality, comfort and safety. The individual office rooms, meeting room, shared work space, and the relaxation area are all welcoming and attractive to sophisticated innovators.

Elevator lobby

The elevator lobby design embraces the mode of the era when the Port of Yokohama opened. The exotic motifs of bricks and decorative metal grilles are reminiscent of Yokohama in the early Meiji era, filled with an energetic and innovative atmosphere.

  • Shared work space
